With
six of the trail’s eleven vistas perched on the edge of its
namesake, the Allegheny Front provides a perfect vantage point
for viewing the ridges and valleys to the east. Skytop Vista affords
an unobstructed view of Pennsylvania’s
Ridge and Valley region to the South. Situated in the center of
this photo (just above and behind the open field) is “Skytop,”
the point at which Route 322 crosses Bald Eagle Ridge and heads
another three miles to State College.
